Love is the simple, everyday things. This picture shows my husband working on our kitchen re-do and Ella "helping" him. What it doesn't show is that he has had to work almost constantly for the past three weeks and was putting in cabinets in his precious time off. He's a high school special education teacher and puts on the school's musical. The show opens this weekend, and I know he (and I) can't wait. I can't wait for him to be done with the grueling rehearsal schedule and all that comes along with it.

We're getting ready to put our house on the market and the kitchen is a huge, labor intensive project. It's about halfway done know and looks amazing-I don't know why we didn't do this when we moved in three years ago! Maybe he just needed a special little girl to help him ;)

Anyway, I felt that this picture really represented our everyday life. Dad's working on something and Ella's always close by and mom's snapping pictures :) Who knows where Ella's pants were! It's just a sweet moment that really resonates with me. I like the fact that neither of them are looking and the camera because they're just too busy. And the cabinet got installed perfectly.
