Ok, I really, really, really need to stop buying this child more spring and summer clothes. But just because she has plenty of clothes already, doesn’t mean that she has enough accessories, right? ;)
I do a lot of second hand shopping. I love consignment stores, rummage sales, outlets and the like. I’ve been able to dress Ella in really nice, name brand clothes since we’ve had her thanks to the Salvation Army’s half off family days! The thrill of the hunt and the victory of finding some adorable little outfit with tags still on it for 75 cents is just too much fun.
I feel like I became somewhat of a discount connoisseur of children's clothing and accessories during our wait for our referral and travel. I needed to pass the time somehow and since we have a budget, I figured out how to get the most (and the cutest) bang for my buck. Now that the little miss is home and certainly does not want to spend her afternoons rooting through racks and piles, I’ve turned to ebay and internet coupon codes. I don’t know if I should be embarrassed or proud that I already have a Rubbermaid tote full of clothes from 2T and up for my 11 month old daughter.

So this picture is one of the recent additions to her summer wardrobe. What girl doesn’t need a pair of adjustable purple leopard printed sunglasses? She was more than happy to model them for me after her bath…do you think we have a little fashionista on our hands? Or the cutest beach babe ever! Hmmm...maybe I need to go and search on ebay for a purple leopard printed bathing suit to match...and then she'll "need" sandals and a hat too, right? :)
