If Miss Ella could talk, she would tell you that she LOVES bath time! Next to daddy coming home, it’s probably her favorite part of the day. Of course when we first got her, we had no idea as to whether or not she would enjoy the water. Plenty of kids are terrified of baths and the water, so we didn’t know what to expect.
Our tub in Viet Nam was very deep (re:unsafe!) Ella was sitting up, but was still a little wobbly so it made us nervous. Luckily another family had brought an inflatable duck tub from home and they shared with us so Ella could safely take a bath. She’s loved baths right from the start, in our hotel room in Viet Nam. She doesn't look too happy in this picture :) but trust me, she liked the water.
She’s gotten to love bath time even more now that we're home. Now there are toys and splashing and cups to play with…it’s just so much fun. It seems like she tries something new out in the tub everyday. This morning she learned that if she put her toy whale or turtle in her special bath time grey cup, they'll float. She made a boat! Then she tried to add more toys to the cup, but they didn't fit, so she moved on to playing with something else.

I enjoy bath time too. It’s so nice to have nothing else to do but sit and focus on Ella’s new splashing and water drinking skills. And what’s cuter than a sweet clean baby in a soft hooded towel after they’ve just played their little hearts out in the tub?
She especially loves when the water is running out of the faucet into the tub. I’ll leave it on just a trickle so she can play in it. She’ll stick her whole face under the running water and try to drink it :) I can’t wait for the summer to take her swimming~we definitely have a little water baby on our hands!
