Do you knoe if there are any that aren’t on this site? we live near Temple and my husband works for Scott & White Hospital, if would be nice if there was one here by the time we get our daughters home.
Hi Littlerivermom,
I haven’t been able to find any in PA (which is shocking since it’s such a big state!) I would start asking other adoptive parents in your area who they use. Try doing a google search or check on yahoogroups for adoption groups in your area. Here is a list of groups in PA that may have some info: adoptive families
They may be able to point you in the right direction. You could also try posting on Adoptive Parents Vietnam or some of the other VN related adoption listservs
to see if there’s anyone in your area.
You can also find a wealth of info. on the internet about how to educate your doctor about internationally adopted kids’ needs. This site
adoptive families medical
has great documents that you can print out and bring into the doctor to ensure that your kids are being properly evaluated and cared for. Best of luck and thanks for writing
Take care,
Rebecca
