In our final provincial lesson for the week, I am going to share the information I have gathered about Lang Son. I will be continuing this series as a means to educate parents about their child’s province. Please keep an eye out for future posts and if you need information on a province that I haven’t covered yet sooner, just let me know and I’ll get that information posted for you.
Lang Son is located in North Viet Nam and enjoys a cool, temperate climate.
Lang Son boasts an impressive highway and railroad system that make travel easy in the area.
The Huu Nghi Quan, or Friendship Gate, is an important transportation and trade link between Viet Nam and China

Tam Thanh Grottoes – these beautiful grottoes (Nhat Thanh, Nhi Thanh and Tan Thanh) provide a peaceful escape for tourists and residents alike. The grottoes are shielded from the son by dense groves and enjoy streams and mountains nearby.
Ky Lua Market - the Ky Lua Market is a shopper's delight. It is a busy market where you will not only find quality goods, but you will also get to shop among the Vietnamese people. Many different ethnic minority groups in the area (including the Tay, the Dao, the Nung, and the Mong) live in the area and you may rub shoulders at the market.
