In my previous posts this week, I have covered the Vietnamese provinces of Bac Giang and Ha Tinh. Today's post is all about the province of Bac Ninh. Learning about our child's place of birth and adoption can be very rewarding for us as parents, but even more so for our kids. By taking an interest in your child's province you are showing them that you respect and are interested in their first months or years of life, before they came home and you'll be able to share all that you've learned with them.
Bac Ninh is in North Viet Nam, enjoys a temperate climate and mostly flat land.
Bac Ninh is the smallest province in Viet Nam, but has the highest provincial population density in the country.
Places to Visit:

Ly Bat De Pagoda – located in Dinh Bang – Bac Ninh, the Ly Bat De Pagoda was the place for kings to worship during the Ly dynasty. The simplicity and calm of the pagoda can be a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of Hanoi.
Dong Ho Village – this area is best known for creating the popular woodblock prints (tranh Dong Ho) that are seen most often during Tet (Vietnamese New Year)
Dinh Bang Village - Dinh Bang Village makes for an amazing day trip. You will travel over the Red River to reach your destination, and once there you will find tons of shopping and culture to enjoy. At the handicraft village you will find traditional Vietnamese handicrafts: mother-of-pearl inlaying, bronze casting, silk weaving and more. It's also said that the local residents will sing "Quan Ho" to show their pride in their homeland.
