As a means to help parents learn more about their child’s province, I have decided to do a series of posts; each dedicated to one province. I will spotlight any attractions, historical sites, sites to visit, etc. that you may wish to visit during your stay in Viet Nam. This week I will be covering Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Ha Tinh, Danang and Lang Son.
Since Ella is from Bac Giang, that is where I am going to begin. I wish that we had spent more time in her province, and hope to be able to return and explore there in the future. Here’s the information I’ve found about Bac Giang:
Bac Giang is located in North Viet Nam
It has two distinct seasons: summer and winter
Main industries: agriculture, forestry, litchi fruit and pineapple

Duc La Pagoda - the Duc La Pagoda was built in the 12th century was a Buddhist school run by resident monks. Gables, statues, gilded doors, and a Buddhist temple make up this breath taking pagoda and provide much needed sanctuary for Buddhists and visitors alike.
Cam Son Lake - this lake provides visitors the chance to take in the beauty and lifestyle of rural Bac Giang. Areas that are home to ethnic minorities can be visited around the lake and offer the opportunity to boat and hike through the area.
