Earlier today I posted about the print and online adoption magazines that are available for us adoptive families. There are also some wonderful adoption newsletters out there that I have enjoyed reading. The first is written for Viet Nam adoptive families and the second and third cover international and transracial adoption, but not solely. Happy reading!
I love
Chao Ban! It is a quarterly print newsletter devoted solely to adoptions from Viet Nam. The cultural information included is wonderful: recipes, activities and information about holidays and the like. You will read about parenting, current events in Viet Nam adoption, product reviews and happenings in the Vietnamese American community.
While we were waiting to travel to adopt Ella I purchased their compilation of the past two years’ issues and was very happy with it. The compilation arrived in a lovely spiral bound packet and is full of useful information. I love that the newsletter includes information for parents and activities for children as well. You can subscribe and/or order the compilation by clicking on this
