
I discovered the wonderful world of blogging shortly after beginning to research adoption. Especially during my wait to travel I was absolutely addicted to reading blogs online. Looking at waiting children profiles can be heartbreaking, and I know many people avoid them because it’s too hard to see their little faces and read their stories. Adoption Mama is an adorable new site that I recently received a tip about. I had to share because I think so many adoptive parents and prospective adoptive parents will love the designs that they have to offer. Listservs are online groups that "talk" to each other through email, but the emails are sent to the group for everyone to benefit from. I found the following yahoogroups to be extremely helpful during the research and waiting phase, and I know they'll be valuable now that Ella's home. Some of them are extremely busy and get dozens (or more) posts per day. If you don't want your email inbox to be full of these messages, there is an option to not receive emails and you can read them at your leisure on the main website through yahoogroups.
